Day Two: Saturday 13 July
Available activities include:
Morning
- Hiking Shompole Hill – Time required approximately two hours. Medium hard hike. Important to start early to avoid mid-day heat
- Cycling – Cycle in the Shompole Conservancy with animals
- Escort by boda boda rider
- Necessary to have tubeless tires to avoid puncture
- Do Nothing aka Idling – You know what to do… there’s a river to swim in
Afternoon
- Explore Shompole Conservancy by car and test driving skills on the trails
- Sundowner at Lake Natron shore
Evening
- Mbuzi choma na hadithi around the campfire
Day Three: Sunday 14 July
- Cycling or hiking or idling available for those that wish
- Departure for Nairobi at 12:00 hrs
- Voluntary pit stop at Olepolos for choma na pombe

There’s a Total station in Magadi town. Recommended to leave Kerarapon with full tank.

- Special campsite means no water, toilets, or other amenities. Make sure to carry enough water for drinking and washing.
- Temperatures at Lake Natron can be high, even in July. Plan accordingly.
Fees
- Citizens/residents: 3000 Ksh per person per day in conservancy and camping fees
- Kids under 10 years free of charge
- 500 Ksh per car per day
- Joshua guide fee 6000 Ksh for the weekend to be split among participants
